Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies we use and why. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember you between visits and make things like logging in work properly.

What cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the platform to work. You can't opt out of these without breaking core functionality.

Authentication. Keeps you logged in across pages and sessions. Set by Supabase. Expires after 7 days or when you log out.

Session security. Protects against cross-site request forgery. Set by Next.js. Expires when you close the browser.

Payment processing. Set by Stripe when you subscribe. Required to complete payments securely.

Functional cookies

These make the site work better for you but aren't strictly required.

Preferences. Remembers things like your last-used child profile or dismissed banners.

Analytics cookies

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how Lermu is used in aggregate. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking that profiles individual users for advertising.

Analytics cookies, if enabled, are anonymised — they cannot identify you personally.

What we DON'T use

— Advertising cookies

— Social media trackers (no Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, etc.)

— Third-party marketing profiling cookies

— Session replay tools that record what you type or click

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the platform from working — you won't be able to log in or complete payments.
